Game Designer



About the Role

As a game designer your role within the team will be to help develop the gameplay, game mechanics, level design, whilst creating docs and bibles to help support the development of the projects. From time to time you may be asked to help with pitching, but if public speaking isn’t your thing that's totally fine. You’ll have the opportunity to wear many hats, at the very early days of the company there will be plenty of opportunities to shape the game's direction and pitch new ideas.


  • Adaptability to work in tight constraints, and low budgets

  • Work closely with directors to achieve desired look and feel

  • Flexibility around deadlines, able to shift priorities

  • Experience with driving games is required

  • Experience with open world games is great

  • A love for narrative driven experiences is a plus


  • Shipped at least 1 title 

  • 3+ years professional experience 

  • Experience with Unity or Unreal engine

  • Experience with balancing progression, and customisation i.e. light rpgs
